Frequently asked questions
Is the mirror ready to hang when I'm done?
You'll carry it home flat the same day; the foam clay air-dries fully over 24–72 hours depending on thickness. After that it's ready to display or hang.
Will the foam clay crack or fall off later?
Foam clay is flexible and lightweight when dry, so it resists cracking far better than regular clay, and we prep the mirror surface so it bonds properly.
Can I copy a design I saw on Instagram or Pinterest?
Bring the reference! Our facilitators will help you translate it — most guests come with a saved folder and leave with their version of it.
Is this workshop good for beginners?
It's one of the best first workshops: foam clay is soft, slow-setting and endlessly re-shapeable, so you can experiment without fear until it's right.
