Lotus Pond Resin Art Workshop in Pune

There is a moment in every resin session when the colours stop being paint and start being water — the teal deepens, the gold catches the light, and a flat board becomes a pond. That moment is what this workshop is built around.
Over one unhurried session at a Pink Pune venue, you'll learn to mix, tint and pour epoxy resin, place sculpted lotus flowers and lily pads, and finish your piece with hand-painted detailing. No experience needed — just curiosity and a free afternoon in Pune.

What is lotus pond resin art?
Resin art uses a two-part epoxy that starts as a liquid and cures into glass-like clarity. By tinting layers with pigments and inks, you can build astonishing depth — which is why water scenes like lotus ponds are the medium's most loved subject.
In this workshop you'll work on a pre-prepped board, guided step by step: mixing ratios, colour blending, controlling flow, placing dimensional elements, and the small finishing touches that make a piece look professionally made.
Why people love it
- The end result genuinely looks bought-from-a-gallery — it's the workshop people gift to themselves.
- Resin is forgiving: colours blend beautifully even on your first pour.
- It's meditative — two hours pass without checking your phone once.
- Every piece is one of a kind; no two ponds ever come out the same.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need any art experience for a resin workshop?
None at all. Every step — mixing, tinting, pouring, placing elements — is demonstrated first and guided throughout. Most people at our Pune sessions are complete beginners.
Can I take my resin piece home the same day?
Yes — by the end of the session your piece is set enough to carry home flat and carefully. Resin reaches full hardness over the next 24–48 hours, so we'll show you how to let it cure at home.
Is resin safe to work with?
We use art-grade epoxy in ventilated spaces and provide gloves and aprons. It's safe for adults and teens; we recommend the session for ages 13 and up.
What should I wear?
Something you don't mind getting a drop of resin on. Aprons are provided, but resin and precious clothing are best kept apart.
Can we book a private lotus pond session for a group?
Yes — this is one of our most requested private experiences for birthdays and team events across Pune. Use the Plan Your Event page and we'll design it around your group.
